Gadshill - Sep 2018 - Cross Vent Robot Barn

On this multi-generation family farm, the milking parlor and barns were running out of space quickly.  Our customer decided to build a new, cross vented dairy barn, propelling them into success for the future in a spectacular way.

This large 105,000 square foot, 12 row, 4 feed alley barn features 10 Lely A5 robots with rooms for 2 more future robots.  Cows lay on sand bedding, GEA scrapers clean the aisles and all the stabling was custom made by Dairy Lane Systems with many one-off features.

Three 5000-gal milk tanks create a big presence when you enter the milk house, through the timber porch. The milk house includes a large equipment room, a nice raised office and a vet room.

This entire project shows what is possible when you plan big for the future. An eleventh Lely robot was added to the existing barn, and this facility is more than ready for success and growth.
