Concrete Foreman

HFH has our own Concrete Finishing division that provides a concrete crew full-time and year-round work. We focus on flatwork and do very little foundation walls. We are looking for a Foreman to lead a second crew and lead pours when the Concrete Supervisor is away from site.

Requirements

  • Experience in flatwork and specialty pours (ie: garages, basement floors, porch tops, walkways, piers, curbs, aisles, and aprons)
  • Expertise with tools of the trade (trowels, screeds, saws, tampers, transit lasers, etc.)
  • Ability to read plans, layouts, and grades
  • Capable and experienced in leading an onsite crew
  • Valid driver's licence, transportation, and insurable record
  • Self-motivated, team player, good communication, attention to detail, and hard-working

Assets

  • MiniEx and Skidsteer experience

Note: Off-season and fill-in work is provided to keep the concrete crew employed all year, by working alongside our framing/construction crews.
